Nexus Terms Riot Data Use

Nexus privacy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains the account, profile, workspace, and Riot-derived data Nexus uses to support League-specific workflows.

Account Data

Nexus collects account information such as email, display name, password hash, and session or authentication state. Nexus stores password hashes, not raw passwords.

League Profile Data

Nexus collects League profile information such as Riot Game Name, tagline, resolved PUUID when configured, primary and secondary roles, champion-pool decisions, team context, and competition context entered into Nexus.

Riot Data Use

When Riot API access is configured, Nexus can resolve your Riot ID to a PUUID and use Riot data to support League-specific features. Nexus may use Riot APIs to resolve Riot IDs, fetch champion mastery, fetch recent match IDs, and fetch match details needed for supported Nexus features.

Current implemented Riot-derived use supports champion-pool suggestion evidence. Riot-derived champion suggestions are reviewable; you decide what belongs in your champion pool.

See the dedicated Riot Data Use page for the public reviewer-facing explanation.

How Nexus Uses Data

Nexus uses this data for account and profile setup, champion-pool suggestions, shared context for launched Nexus-integrated apps, and team or competition workflows.

Protection and Retention

Nexus does not sell personal data. Nexus keeps Riot API credentials server-side and does not expose them in browser code. Passwords are hashed, and sessions use server-side session and authentication controls.

Profile and context data is retained while the account exists or until removed by an operator or user-supported workflow. Riot-derived suggestions may remain in champion-pool records unless removed, rejected, or cleaned up.

Nexus is not endorsed by Riot Games and does not represent Riot Games.

Contact

For privacy questions or data requests, contact the Nexus site operator at the public project or deployment contact made available with this service.
